"I asked the chat at Darn Tough (my daughter loves those socks) for a sock that would not cut circulation and cause swelling above the top of the sock. They referred me to your sock. I was excited to try the socks, but very disappointed to see that they caused the worse swelling that I have had in a long time. In comparing them to other socks, your wide socks are the same size. They may work for some, but you should add a disclaimer that these wide socks will not help prevent swelling of the leg above the sock if one is prone swelling with a constrictive band. I maintain a normal weight, have skinny ankles, am a senior citizen, and am still looking for a real wide-top sock."

Comfy and wide toe box!

"First off, I don’t have thicker ankles and feet but do have wide feet and wide toe area. Typical socks feel constricting to me though I can tolerate them. I read about WideOpen on a Reddit forum about barefoot shoes so I thought I’d try a pair. There is so much room in the toes without tightness nor feeling like I’m wearing a size too large. I don’t feel any of the usual “arch support” zone many higher end socks now have but add to tightness. The entire toe area above the ball of the foot is cushioned as is the heel. They are incredibly soft and comfortable in a way I’ve never experienced in a sock. I’m a fan!"
