2+ YEARS IN THE MAKING
First - to make the best fitting knee high for people with wide legs and feet, we had to design a sock that didn't exist yet. It took a few tries.

Knit to stretch up to 21" throughout the calf and leg, with a cushioned sole and premium merino wool, Wide Open Knee Highs offer all-day comfort and classic style.
You may be used to sizing up, but we recommend ordering your true size with WIDE OPEN®. Regardless of how wide your feet are (all our socks stretch up to a 4E width), your shoe size is the best indicator of what your WIDE OPEN® sock size will be. View our Size Chart for more information.
Please note that if you’re at the upper end of a size range, we recommend choosing your true size. If you’re directly between sizes, we recommend sizing up. If the size you order ends up not fitting just right, take advantage of our free 90-day exchange policy and send them back for a new size.
Socks should fit snug, but not tight. It should feel like a soft hug for your feet that doesn’t restrict circulation or comfort. Your toes should have room to wiggle, but not so much so that the fabric bunches inside your shoe. Excess fabric around the toes or heel can lead to blisters. A smooth, streamlined fit is key. It’s important to make sure the heel pocket sits right on your heel. If the heel pocket can’t reach your heel, the sock is too small. If the heel pocket sits above your heel at your ankle, it’s too big. If your Wide Opens don’t fit, utilize our 90-day free return and exchange policy to get the right size for you.
Our Knee Highs are designed to pair with just about anything. Wear them under tall boots for extra comfort and coverage, or let them peek out with loafers, flats, sneakers, or ankle boots for a classic, stylish look.
