"My friend referred me to these socks because i was experiencing lines on my legs from my regular sock so I was in the market. I love the crew 2pk wide fit socks feel and the designs are cute too, I’ve gotten compliments in my PT class. I’m usually a medium, but I actually prefer the large size for the extra comfort and room. They feel great and don’t feel tight at all. Definitely a good choice if you like a more relaxed fit."

"I have been a huge fan of Darn Tough socks for years, but picked up a pair of Wide Open at the sale in Northfield, and I absolutely love them. My legs are not really overweight at all, but I have some neuropathy, and having socks that aren't as tight is just lovely. So now, I will be building up a bunch of Wide Open socks. I hope you make some more that are summer weight. Can't wait to snag some at the sale. You are a great company that does our great state of Vermont proud! Oh, and the designs are super cute also."

Design still needs tweaking

"This review is for all the socks I have purchased from you. I appreciate the roomy foot part. However, the sock cuffs are still too tight. I don't have large ankles, but I really hate sock cuffs that have a death grip on my ankles. Really, I didn't find the cuffs to be much different or any different than the ones on regular socks. Loosen them up!"

Q&A

Does the wool in these socks itch like other wool clothing? I usually wear have issues with wool sweaters and scarfs. I sure hope that it doesn't, I have very arthritic feet and i do need wide stretch socks terribly.
Our socks are made from the softest merino wool, so they won't itch like other wool garments!
Which women sock is the widest?
All of our socks are knit to accommodate a 4E foot width, but sticking with our newest styles will guarantee the most updated fit!
