"These socks are roomier in the toes, but they still leave stock dents above my ankles. These sock dents aren’t uncomfortable like the ones left by the Darn Tough socks. I don’t have wide calves or edema. It remains to be seen how these will fit after being washed."
"Advertised as wide 18 inch opening barely stretching to 12 inch. I have large ankles and they weren’t even close to making it over my ankles very very very disappointed for a $25 pair of socks. Great customer service but they need to fix their socks or definitely fix their advertising. It’s false advertising at it’s worse!!!!!!!"
"My friend referred me to these socks because i was experiencing lines on my legs from my regular sock so I was in the market. I love the crew 2pk wide fit socks feel and the designs are cute too, I’ve gotten compliments in my PT class. I’m usually a medium, but I actually prefer the large size for the extra comfort and room. They feel great and don’t feel tight at all. Definitely a good choice if you like a more relaxed fit."

"I have been a huge fan of Darn Tough socks for years, but picked up a pair of Wide Open at the sale in Northfield, and I absolutely love them. My legs are not really overweight at all, but I have some neuropathy, and having socks that aren't as tight is just lovely. So now, I will be building up a bunch of Wide Open socks. I hope you make some more that are summer weight. Can't wait to snag some at the sale. You are a great company that does our great state of Vermont proud! Oh, and the designs are super cute also."

"I recently purchased the clouds and tulip designed socks. Two yummy pairs. They fit perfectly around my ankle and they stay there. No slipping down and no rings around my ankles from too tight socks. Bravo!"

I don't have large ankles, but I really hate sock cuffs that have a death grip on my ankles. Really, I didn't find the cuffs to be much different or any different than the ones on regular socks. Loosen them up!"
