I do wish they made a taller sock that would come up over my calves."

"What is the rationale of calling these Wide Open socks when the elastic is so tight that they are unusable? I bought these for an elderly friend with wide feet. He couldn't even get them over his toes. I tried to use them. Female, very narrow foot (AAA width). I could get them on; they were ver tight. And after an hour, my feet were hurting from the compression; I had to take them off. There were deep "grooves" in my feet from the elastic. Absolutely unusable. $100 wasted. False advertising. . ."
