"The socks were tight out of the package and even tighter after washing. Just because the stretch doesn’t mean they are wide. Most likely I will give them away to the homeless shelter. Maybe you could try adding a couple dozen more vertical rows to the knitting machine."

"The feet area are wide enough, but the ankle/lower calf are tight. They are comfortable to wear, however there are creases in the ankle/calf area when socks are removed."

"After ordering a single pair of size large Wide Open socks and finding they were a good fit for my husband's large feet and ankles we hoped this variety pack would be a smart buy. The wool socks were nicely knit and soft but the two pairs in the pack are not "Wide Open" or large size. We squeezed his feet in and he wore them a couple hours but had to remove the socks which made marks on his ankles. So disappointed."
